I am getting married in Luxembourg this year. Both my fiancee and I were born in California. If anyone has been through this situation, can you please give me your input? I need to obtain a full copy of my birth certificate, specifically a “complete version with filiation”.

When looking on the birth certificate websites in California, I can’t find any option to obtain a “complete version with filiation”.
How do I know if I am getting the correct copy?

So your birth certificate doesn’t mention the names of your father and your mother? I find that hard to believe.
Either that or you didn’t look up the meaning of the word filiation…
