The different sources of electricity in Europe in 2021!

  1. Nuclear is the future, we lost so many decades of potential nuclear research because anti-nuclear lobbying groups would halter any sort of research. Imagine where we would be today if the last 2-3 decades we invested in nuclear research and development? Invest, invest, invest.

  2. Whats up with the order of the legend and the data?

Very hard to find the exact colour match and everything being in different order for no apparent reason makes it really problematic to read.

  3. Like /u/_Rorin_ wrote, it’s a surprisingly hard to read chart. One way you can tell your chart needs more work is that it is actually significantly **less informative** than the [source](https://energy-charts.info/charts/energy/chart.htm?l=en&c=EU&year=2021&interval=year&stacking=sorted) which actually sorts energy sources in three categories and allow them to be easily compared by stacking them.

    – There are twenty-two categories displayed without clustering, which is way too many

    – It is impossible to know what color corresponds to bars below 5 TW/h

    – The color scheme should both allow to identify similar sources, and allow them to easily tell them apart from sources of the same group

    – You could sort energy sources by increasing / decreasing amount of energy generated, if you group sources by categories you could sort inside each group

All that being said, all hail to nuclear energy !
