  1. Well, anything but a conviction would have been very surprising indeed.

In the linked story, one of her acquaintances is quoted as saying that she ”had an upbringing and taste… You can’t buy that. You can’t buy access, either”.

I’m pretty sure you *can* buy access, yes, and therein lies an enormous problem.

  2. Let’s see if she feels suicidal when the cameras are turned off and she is locked in a cell with a convicted ex-cop.

  3. the girls she ll meet in prison are a bit too old for her taste, but i m sure she ll meet some new future massage professionals.

  4. This still feels underwhelming, I mean her connections to intelligence agencies and the people she blackmailed/actions she got those she blackmailed to do is still unknown.

  5. Is she in protective custody?

Edited to add: In the U.S. “protective custody” means that the prisoner is separated from the general prison population because they are at risk of being attacked by other inmates.

  6. They way the introduce Dershowitz as just a “lawyer” when he specifically has been accused is fraudulent as fuck and outright journalistic malpractice.

edit: it very much is journalistic malpractice, for more details read the full exchange with the cunt below.

  7. perhaps time for some medieval interrogation practices to find out who else were involved ……
