  1. Full quote:

    > Kyrylo Budanov, Chief of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, believes that Russia will want revenge after losing the war against Ukraine and that this may happen in 10 years.

    > **Quote:** “Russia will need about 10 years to recover in terms of military capabilities. Exactly 10 years is a normal period for rethinking all this. And to start preparing for revenge again.
    >
    > We will definitely have 10 years, and if we manage to influence the territories that will be created in other ways after the victory of Ukraine, let’s say, maybe we will have much more, but we will have at least 10 years.”
    >
    > **Background:**
    >
    > * Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov emphasised that Russia will not cease to be Ukraine’s neighbour after its defeat.
    > * NATO’s military committee also emphasised that Russia will remain a threat to the North Atlantic Alliance, even if its troops are defeated in Ukraine.

  2. Revenge with what?
They are losing all their soviet equipment and in the last 30 years they were unable to produce anything decent especially not in the amounts they require.

Russia will never be a world power anymore. Maybe they can keep their nukes, but i bet they have to cut down on them or not have an army at all.

  3. Well… In 10 years Ukraine will hopefully be a part of NATO and well integrated into the western world. They also might have one of the biggest armies inside NATO with probably a higher spending than the 2%…

  4. Ukraine will be a NATO member by then and their worst problem will be (basically, already is…) China. The only revenge they need to feel is against their corrupt elite.

  5. I have a question do you pronounce Kyrylo Budanov as Cry-low Buda- nove?

  6. If Russia dissintigrates, there will constantly need to be sleeper mossad type units ready to move in and neutralize any rogue entities getting a hold of nukes. Ukraine is the ideal place to train and direct such units, with rapid deployment commando units ready to go in for backup. In my opinion, the free world will have to support such units to prevent disasters. Scarry Tom Clancy shit.

  7. Russian agreements are worthless. So any agreement for the end of the war will be garbage. They don’t even call it a war in Russia.

Ukraine needs an agreement with NATO if they can’t join. Then fine…sign an agreement for NATO troops and support if invaded. No more 2014 and 2022 bullshit.

  8. That’s why Ukraine needs to be a part of NATO. They’re family now. You pick a fight with them, you pick a fight with all of us.

  9. Russian military will be in a pitiful state come next decade.
And even if let’s say then wanted to have another go at it in 2030, they need to realize that:
    – Ukraine has first-hand knowledge and experience on how the Russkies fight (even at their best and their worst)
    – Ukraine will have much more defenses and tools at its disposal (particularly in the realm of home-grown weapons and defensive measures)
    – Russia is facing population crisis that affects their fatality rates (e.g. Vatniks getting killed) and fertility rates (e.g. dead sons and fathers affects the creation of future families).

So yeah, by all means, if the Kremlin wants to have another go at Kiev invasion Part Deux after say 6-7 years from now, then let them try.
But Ukraine can see through what the Vatnik empire is planning………and we’ll be more prepared then ever before.

  10. Easy fix, after the war is over they should lease some land to the US to establish bases in their territory. Like in Germany and other EU countries. That would put an end to Russian aggression toward Ukraine. Besides the fact that they will be part of NATO.
