I bought this ticket in July through the DB navigator app and I cancelled before 10th August. My subscription number as you can see begins with VBB-DT-DI-…., but…I get an email on 1st September saying they can’t find this subscription attached to my name. If you see the 2nd/3rd screenshot, it says Germany ticket “VBB” which is understandable as the state transport company is VBB. So why did it fail? was I not supposed to insert the order number and rather the “contract number”? If someone could please clear this confusion for me that would be great.

Am I supposed to contact the VBB or DB Abo team? In the app, at the bottom of the ticket, if i select the unsubscribe button it takes me to the DB website only and not to the regional transport website.

Lesson: always buy from the DB website rather than the app, as the cancellation can be simply done by just clicking on a button rather than filling a form and waiting for their reply only to realize you are gonna pay an extra month.
