For the next time, sauce needs to be less thick, idea is to get something which goes well with gnocchi, this seems a bit thick for that.
You will not find generally agreed national dish since Croatia has several regions with distinctive cousines, and each of them won’t agree on another’s region dish being national. But yes, this is truly one of the national dishes.
