I was told recently that I might qualify for Austrian citizenship by decent via the new persecution law. My situation: Great great grandparents: Rudolph Klotzer born April 4 1897 & Berta Bierdumpfl Jan 10 1902 seems like both born in Mies (Stribro); Great grandmother was born in 1922 in Mies out of wedlock by about one month; Grandmother was born in Mausdorf, Germany in 1946 to my great grandmother with no father and moved to the US as a minor (formally naturalized in 1976, which was after my mother was born); great grandmother and grandmother come to the US around 1952; American Grandfather and German grandmother got married August 1964; My mother was born in the US in wedlock November 1964; I was born in 1989 in wedlock in the US.
Does this make sense in the context of the new law? If so, so do I talk to further? I’m actually in the process of citizenship for somewhere else but wanted to see. Thanks so much.
