  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

  2. More competition is good news for consumers. And it’s great to see it coming from democracies. These batteries are for much more than EVs. They help store green energy from when it is produced to when it’s needed.

  3. “Swedish battery maker Northvolt announced Wednesday it has produced its first lithium-ion battery cell at its factory in Skelleftea, meeting its deadline to start production at the plant before the end of 2021.”

That’s cutting it a little close, isn’t it?

  4. Im honestly amazed by the scandinavian nations. Such small in terms of population but able to add so much value to their economy. It is admirable

  5. I really hope they succeed.

Europe needs to grow their own supply chain and not dependent on whims of other nations like China.

  6. These threads always remind me of early days of mobile phones when it was important which type of battery phone had: NiMH, Li-ion or Li-Polymer.
