We’re diggin wells! This one is going to help about 9000 people and get the local hospital back running :) Kyivih Rih Region – Bird of Light Ukraine

1. This is the first of 2 wells we’re currently digging, and maybe the first of 4+? Who knows, there’s a lot of wells to be dug.

   After the Kahovka dam warcrime a lot of people in the Krivih Rih region were left without water as it’s situated on a plateau without streams. Most of the water was supplied from the reservoir. As a result, many communities are without running water and are relying on water shipments to get by at the moment.

   So, we’re digging wells.

   This one is going for a community of about 9000 people, and more importantly, will be primarily supplying water to the local hospital which is inoperable due to lack of running water. The remaining water flow will be helping the residents of the community– and I think there should be enough 🙂
