He’s right, everyone knows that the drug business in Ireland is run by The Joker
>Unfortunately for us, we have a level of criminality, violence and viciousness in our criminal underclass that the Portuguese are lucky they don’t have
Why do people need to be kept, as he sees it, “straight” ? It’s a good job he’s a former Garda because that sort of shit sounds very like the Ireland of the past. “Live by our morality and ideals or we’ll punish you.” And now apparently we need “to fear” the Gardai for the unconscionable crime of smoking a joint ?
Fucking scum Gardaí.
> They don’t have guys running around hotels with machine guns.
Not a drug problem.
> We’re dealing with criminal lunatics at times.
Punish these people.
> “There are tens of thousands of young people who don’t use drugs,” he said. “They don’t use drugs because firstly it isn’t healthy, but also because it is illegal. Very often it is the fear of the courts or the fear of the guards.
So these people aren’t running around hotels with machine guns, and aren’t criminal lunatics, and I imagine are the exact kind of people that you want picked up by the Portuguese system.
> I have also been told it will lead to an increase in drug driving.
Which people would be prosecuted for driving under the influence. But they wouldn’t drug drive anyway, because the young people have a “fear of the courts and the guards” I thought.
Drugs take you to hell, disguised as heaven. Just say no.
He wants people to fear the gardaí. What a scumbag.
Looks like he’s about to have a stroke….
He’s a bit of a media whore, shows up on everything.
