  4. Why do people need to be kept, as he sees it, “straight” ? It’s a good job he’s a former Garda because that sort of shit sounds very like the Ireland of the past. “Live by our morality and ideals or we’ll punish you.” And now apparently we need “to fear” the Gardai for the unconscionable crime of smoking a joint ?
