  1. So much of modern FF is just diet FG that I doubt this would happen without mass resignations

  2. I just cant see it happening because for starters I do not believe most FF supporters will stand for it if such a coalition happened it would probably bury FF permanently or at least for a generation

  3. Might get a whole new young voter base that they badly need.

    Can’t see a SF Government ending in anything other than a car crash though,so any gain may well be lost.

  4. What i think is that some might think that FF will hopefully keep a check on SF. Especially if you’re an international investor.

  5. Because the alternative, a Sinn Féin-led coalition excluding FG and FF, is increasingly unlikely. Only SDs on 6% would constitute a partner, the rest are on wipeout terroity. Vote share is consolidating. We’ll end up with 3 and a half parties after the next election.
