Are they all anti-vaxxers though? No doubt some in that crowd haven’t had a single jab, but I know many who aren’t scared of the vaccine but rather of the government justifying taking more and more power with no guarantees of them ever being handed back.
Covid passports are a clear line in the sand as if left unchecked they could easily allow Western governments to much easier monitor citizens than they do today.
And yes I know people will say that they can already do that via your phones but we’ve never had a situation as of yet where based on your profile you can or cannot enter a shop/travel abroad/even get a job(like in Italy) etc.
Basically I’m not sure anti-vaxxer is necessarily the right definition for those protesting as I’m sure if there was a clear guarantee of get one jab and then these restrictions are lifted the majority would do so
I hear you. It’s touch and go with me and Tony’s younger brother. And I hope he’s still blocked because he’ll never speak to me again if he sees I’ve written this!
So you’re telling me that the country that spawned that festering pile of puss that is the USA, is also full of utter complete idiots?! No! Who’d have thought?!
I wish there was an actual distinction between being antivax, which is irrational, and being anti-lockdowns, which is absolutely a fair debate.
As it is you just get mobs of morons like these guys who don’t even know why they believe what they do.
Why is Piers Corbyn so crazy
How many of these protesters that were terrifying the nhs staff were banging pots and pans in the street last year in support of them?
Edit: for those that don’t know what I’m on about last year for a few months on every Thursday evening at a particular time (can’t remember what time though) throughout the U.K. people went out and clapped, honked car horns, banged pots and pans and generally made a racket to show support for the nhs (national health service)
If I want to buy a car and the salesman tells me “99,7% it won’t blow up” I’m not buying it.
Damn this is near me it would have been fun to go and have a laugh at the crazy shit they were saying
