I think people need to know how these vaccines work, and they have been mislead by all the politicians. Vaccines do not prevent people from having COVID. They “lower” the symptoms, THAT IS IT. Currently 80% of people in Canada at the hospitals are double vaccinated. Vaccines DO NOT STOP THE SPREAD, that is why Omicron is scaling through the roof. Unfortunately, this will be as common as flu, and hopefully, we will build up immunity to get this to the level of flu, but it can take decades.
That stat is either misleading or he is lying.
ICU makes up a tiny tiny proportion of covid admissions.
For context the UK’s biggest hospital in South London has 7 covid positive patients in ICU.

My gut feeling is Boris is stoking a blame game here.
Edit: very Reddit that this is getting downvoted despite me giving government sources for the figures. Yet some nonsense vague claim based on antidotes is believed just because it fits the narrative.
Open your eyes, they’re manipulating you to blame the ‘unvaccinated’ rather than accept the bitter reality that they have failed to reform healthcare to point a where just 7 people in ICU is putting pressure on the UKs biggest hospital.
Right so we’re almost at the point where the vast majority of people dying are the ones we don’t want in the gene pool anyway, I’m not ok with anymore lockdowns.. sorry peeps who cant have vaccines for medical reasons but for the sake of humanity take the L for the team
