UN highlights ‘psychological harm’ to UK man jailed since 2012 for phone theft by Elderflowerspritz Tags:United Kingdom 2 comments Bizarre and disturbing that this was even a thing, and even worse that it was used for low-level crimes. Phone theft? Nah. He was jailed for a street robbery. Lots of previous before that too. Had already previously served a 4 year prison sentence. A life of alcohol and drugs funded by stealing phones and money. I’m sure having a drink and drug fuelled 6’4 man robbing you and prison being no deterrent was a lovely prospect for his community. “He was very musically talented”. It was gonna be that or a gifted footballer. 11 years he’s been inside for street robbery, I think most people would say that was a good sentence.
