– The 7 Day Case Rate now shows the case rate week-by-week going back 1 month. The weekly trend has moved to the right of it to show the most recently weekly move.
– Now every field has a comparable with what the situation was 1 week ago. The 1 week ago data is in italics to make it easier to pick out today’s data. It’s interesting to see vaccination rates and booster % in particular – I often found myself comparing two charts to look at these so I just decided to rebuild the chart to show these.
– There’s now a weekly trend column on the comparable unvaccinated rate – this is a proxy measure of the scale of the pandemic in terms relative to when we didn’t have vaccines and it accounts for undertesting and vaccinations and hospitalisations.
– The daily movement data remains – this should give you an idea of the general pattern of movements without actually listing each daily number – this created the column space to be able to put comparable data on every metric.
– The “linear projections” were removed. They were originally used for predicting UK travel corridors in summer 2020 and they’re not particularly accurate when we get to large movements.
