Where did Britain get half its genes from? France…

  1. Bonded by history, genes and culture yet some especially tragic individuals on here will go so far as to claim Britain isn’t even European, all because of recent politics.

  2. I mean everyone in France knows for fact that England is an ex French colony. History has been taught this way ever since 1066.

  3. Britian is a huge mix, France, Scandinavian, celtic, Ex Empire nations, so much has been absorbed and so over centuries.

Our genes and language is a massive hybrid.

  4. Well it seems to make sense. Gauls and Britons were both Celtic people. Each just ended up mixing with incoming groups of people over time (Romans, Germanic tribes, Scandinavians). And the constant fighting between the two regions in the last millennium further increased mixing.

  5. You mean French had been inbreading so they have ”pure French genes” not mixed with some others one like rest of the world? That’s cruel, and oh so unkind ( and I do not believe it is true, bot for a sake of a discussion…)
