No decent communications security in UK, right.
Bad for sure.
But, take it a step further, what happens when a Brit is in an iMessage chat to an American (or indeed a German)…does the chat drop the encryption for the foreigner too ?
Cos you are either secure or not…
Dunno, maybe the govt does have the answers but I haven’t heard them yet.
I suspect this will get quietly dropped. Remember when they tried a few year back to bring age verification in for porn sites. Then no one really thought how it would work? Its that all over again
