Much better would be to give us the price change as a percentage, the new price per litre and the average increase (£4 in this case), for each major type of fuel.
Putting just that last number in the headline is clickbait shit. Fuck the BBC for lowering its standards of attracting clicks rather than giving information clearly and quickly.

Last time I checked last Saturday, local supermarkets unleaded petrol was £1.46 per liter and Shell / Texaco ~£1.54+
