Can a soldier/fighter deploy right under a gun, as one does here under the CV-90 gun at 0.03sec? thanks

Meanwhile in russia soldiers who are trained to find the safety switch on their weapon are considered elite troops.
Im no army guy but laying under a 30/40mm cannon to take up firing position is not really a clever thing to do?
