Like Gargarin was probably not the first person in space, he’s just the first to come back, and to come back alive.
Of course they did.
If they could airbrush their moon crash from history they would do that too.
Sick people who will never own up to their mistakes.
I saw a TV show about this recently, the soviets hid a lot of things about their space program.
