  1. We really must do something about these HOECS games.

Too many kids smelling like hammers these days.

  2. _Actual shudders reading that_. Well, there you have it, one of the world’s wonders of interactive technology is creepy as hell.

  3. Easy solution is not to give a child a VR headset with haptic feedback, or restricting access/monitoring access to the internet.

There’s always going to beasts out there, or at least people that are doing something for a laugh/trolling.

It’s just like how if I don’t want to get robbed, I don’t go walking down a dark alley in a bad part of town at night. Part of the solution requires the user to be proactive in protecting themselves.

  4. Recently picked up one of the quest headsets and it literally has parental controls you can set during the setup process. Can’t speak to others but if you are a parent use them and don’t let your children have unsupervised access to online spaces with voice and text chat. Also keep them off 18 rated games. Just anecdotal but there are still plenty of underage children playing call of duty. Get a squeaker every 5 or so lobbies.
