I got a 3% rise in January and it was basically wiped away instantly. Am back in the market now as its faster to move jobs and get a pay raise than it is to stay in my industry
The orthodoxy is that rate must rise to tame inflation, yet energy prices aren’t set domestically, they’re international. So now we have government supports to pay for rate rises.
