afaik after ww2 there was 460’000 amputees in red army (there was even saying “samovars of stalin / samovars of comrade stalin”), approximately 23% of red army was ukrainians, so i guess even if we consider soviet ukrainian soldiers very lucky, we not reached ww2 scale yet tbh.
