  1. Yay, we’ll have summer after all.
    Better late than never.

  2. 32c….amateur hour, I remember the 40’s last year, bring it.

  3. Think we just need to adjust our expectations of summer – it’s lovely at the beginning and end, with a wet season in the middle. We’re India now.

  4. A chance to fill my bottles of warm air to store for the cold winter.

    Great.

  5. Now it’s September I feel a sense of relief that we’ve got through the summer without many (if any?) crazy heat waves. Up in Scotland.

I reckon this is going to be a yearly concern for me – “is this year gonna be a challenge with the heat?”.

Fun times, reaping what we sow.

  6. These last few years have given me stress related anxiety with the summer temperatures, I was dreading it this year. I’m really happy we didn’t see any of the European heatwave, and if we’re only experiencing this week as a heatwave, then we move to cooler autumn temperatures I’ll be happy with that.

Everyone experiences the heat differently of course. By the coast it’s lovely and cool, but in the midlands where I’m from its unbearable in a new build home, especially the evenings.

The winter isn’t really a problem, you’d blast the boiler on the rads for an hour and it holds the heat in for the day, summer time it’s awfully stuffy. Really need to get AC and look to install it in the spring. It’s only going to get warmer.

  7. Last night was horrendously hot for sleep. My room temp fan said 31 at 2am. Sane again today, hotter late in evening/ night.
