Basically, I paid for the €16,48. And then I see that my bank account has also been taken €73,05 from UPS. The latter charge, of course, I did not agree for as it wasn’t shown anywhere.
I thought there weren’t any import/export duties within the EU? So why would they charge for “Transborder Standard”, this sounds like an import tax. Maybe I’m wrong. On top of that, this was a gift to someone.

16,48 is only the VAT.

Well, its not. Thats whatthey call the specific service you brought from them.

I can’t imagine any set up that would only show you the 16,48€ and nothing else, because that number wouldn’t exist without the 73,05€. This is the only tax you paid, the VAT.
