Around 80 000 Ukrainians of mobilization age may still be in Poland. They can be sent back to their country if Ukraine shall issue international arrest warrants for fraudulently dodging the draft. Smugglers and other men, that crossed the border illegally have already been extradited back.

  1. Everyone should be allowed to just leave attacked country. Draft is pure slavery.

  2. Would this apply to those also farther afield in the UK, Ireland, Germany, the United States, etc?

  3. Many Ukrainian 17 year olds in Europe are turning 18. Have they been instructed to return to Ukraine? Ukraine seems to have chosen to draft mostly 30-40 year olds while the majority of 18- 30 year olds in Ukraine are civilians and not being drafted. This is not how NATO countries would have done it (US mobilization during WWII was all 18-27 year old men for instance).

  4. Come back to help save your home, or find a new home and don’t ever return.

  5. I’ve worked with plenty of Ukrainian men of military age in UK, and these aren’t skilled people or students, they are just men doing low skilled manual labor jobs, so it’s obvious they left on purpose to avoid the draft.

  6. No one is obligated to give their life or take a life on anyone or anything else behalf. It is the sovereign right of the individual to choose this. A fundamental right of man. No government should have the power to force anyone to kill or be killed. No one got to choose what plot of ground they were born on. So the “governors” of that plot of land do not have defacto rights to that persons life.

  7. There’s a draft dodger in Estonia that is robbing stores and nobody does anything about him, that’s what the media is saying.

  8. Here’s a question for everyone – if Ukranians can be sent back to Ukraine, should Russians be sent back to Russia?

  9. That’s going to be a bit tricky In Finland. We’re not extraditing anyone just so they can be sent to war. Quite the opposite.

  10. Why would you dodge the draft to fight to free your own country?

  11. Honestly, a guy sending back half his pay from working in Germany would help more than being drafted. Equipment and logistics save lives and win territory. But I can’t see that happening and UAF does need people, even if it is for rotating current soldiers.
