Health insurance premiums go up like crazy every year. As well as apartment rental costs. Provided you find one. Which I can accept but here comes the joke; official inflation rate is 1.6% – august 2023, so sorry guys, but no salary increase this year (either).

Thats a good joke, even better than max caps on reduction possibilities of taxes for health costs or hey, i have another one “Eigenmietwert” or paying the trash 3 times or or or … meanwhile everybody around envy us because the astronomical salaries (haha) … Switzerland is becoming a real big JOKE!
It’s going to be hilarious to witness IRL, on reddit, on social medias, the decaying of this system.
People are arguing about solar panels in Valais, where to put them, in top of buildings or in the Alps… without realizing that the true vulnerability is that we’re not going to have always more oil/gas… and that it’s going to impact us regardless of how we electrify all we can, since we import pretty much everything we require, from food to all infrastructure.
You can try to cling on some pseudo-ladders of hope “white/green/blue hydrogen”, that we’ll never be able to scale to the stupid size of infrastructure we have, now, even in Switzerland.
Or you can take it as granted that all kind of energy will keep on costing more, because we live on a finite planet.
We’re about to feel the consequences of listening to economists and similar idiots that convinced/hypnotized people that “we’ll always find a solution”. LOL.
So, you can prepare accordingly, you and your local community, by trying to go slowly go back to a lifestyle and require less and less energy, or you can prepare with your friends to become the next warlord when we lack so much of oil/gas that the social contract, maintained by hospitals and the police, starts to crumble. When ? No clue, but we’ll never be able to keep on making our energy supply grow, regardless of sun, wind, hydrogen, perlinpinpin’powder or whatever.
