> Despite the rarity of the book it failed to sell at auction.
Snort. Love to read a big long article trying to justify why a book is supposedly worth £20,000, only to find out it didn’t even sell.
Seems the bids went up to £13,000 but it didn’t meet the reserve.
Storage Wars always put out this idea that if the seller said is was worth $500 then that’s what they’d get. In reality, any item is only worth what someone will pay on the day. H Potter included.
It’s odd to find stuff like this when their real value hasn’t been originally ascertained.
