It’s quite the spectrum.
Paragraph 4 could be any of about 60% of this sub but the rest is fairly typical internet rabbit hole dementia.
It’s mad the stuff people convince themselves of. At least Ireland’s incel / loser / far right population are generally timid and non threatening, but my god they really wrangle their grievances into absolutely everything.
I also kinda want to see what a right-wing fair city character is like now.

The only thing Fair City got wrong is that their character has a job,as far as I know.The actual arseholes thst go around spouting this nonsense are all wasters on a grift.
Support for far right groups has actually increased since 2020. Even though most people know that the far right in Ireland and elsewhere is just full of whiny, overentitled manchildren who can’t handle the fact that they (straight white men) are not the centre of the universe anymore. They should get help for their issues instead of taking exception with a fairly accurate depiction of them in a soap opera.

Do they think that the majority of the country are behind them or do they know they’re mostly hated?
As character development goes, they should build over a few months a love interest that slowly draws your man away from the far right.
Could do all sorts of trolling with a story like that.
