Golfer was not allowed on Ryanair flight as specialised wheelchair deemed too big

    Sure you can get on, just no wheelchair and you’d have to crawl on the ground. But yeah it was totally the passenger’s choice.

  2. Should be fairly easy to clear up. If Ryanair provided the max size it’s on him, if not it’s on them.

  3. They are extremely heavy, I watched 5 people struggle to load one onto a plane for 20 minutes once.

    That said, woeful planning and operations on the part of Ryanair – for a company that specialises in extracting profit from every minor convenience, you’d think this would be a situation they could easily deal with.

  4. Ryanair saying they sent him a form regarding dimensions of what is allowed, on Friday.
    He says he never got it.

    A technical issue where the email didn’t get delivered, or one of the two is spouting bullshit.

    Fuck knows.
