Hello,

We want to travel from Frankfurt Main Airport to Heidelberg with a 1-year-old kid. We will return from a long flight with 2 luggage. We decided to book a hotel near the airport and stay overnight as the flight arrives at 19 hours. But it is still a hassle to take the train with change the next day. Besides it costs in total around 150 EURO.

I want to ask whether anybody knows a reliable taxi service from Frankfurt airport to Heidelberg. And how much would it cost at 19 hours? We need a child seat too.

A quick google showed me this: [https://www.welcomepickups.com/frankfurt/airport-transfer-to-heidelberg/](https://www.welcomepickups.com/frankfurt/airport-transfer-to-heidelberg/) but I am not sure how reliable it is. Any insights?

For the train only? Or for the train and hotel stay?

Because the train should be aroung 30€ per person

  2. I use this one. They’ve always been reliable for me and they speak at least basic English. They have a set schedule and you need to go to the drop off/pick up point. It is more expensive than the train. Train is ~25 per person for a flex ticket, they’re 32 per person for a once way trip.

This is the more expensive one that will pick you up/drop you off at your hotel/house. I used them once when I had a stupidly early flight and they were good. But I used the shared shuttle service which they stopped offering since the pandemic.
