I started a “teilzeitjob” last month. My boss (not my employer) thought it was just a minijob, so he made me work less hours. All in all they barely even made me work at all, and now I got very little Lohn.

As far as I understand my contract my employer has to pay me a fraction of my actual Lohn (that is, the days that I was employed) and the missing hours are added up and I have to work them off some other time. (SEE PICTURE)

Who’s in the wrong?

  1. The minus hours in the image above refer to deductions from your salary if you quit or are fired.

In your first month you should have been paid a portion of your monthly salary in proportion to the days you have worked.
