Foreign Minister Kuleba went to a McDonald’s with Secretary Blinken during his visit to Kyiv. Kuleba: “When I was a student, my best hangover food was from McDonald’s. I would go to McDonalds and buy double cheeseburger, big Coke, and that would be my hangover breakfast"

Blinken: “hey Dmytro, I would love some nice traditional Ukrainian borscht for lunch!”
Kuleba: “sorry bro, I had some vodka last night. McDonald’s it is”
A) I need the whole video so I can finish the McDonalds coming back to Ukraine question.
B) is it weird that McDonalds is making me feel Fucking patriotic?!?
Gotta be so weird to eat with 50 cameras in your face.
It would be interesting to get some input as to the taste/quality of McD’s in other countries compared to the US. From my experience, taste/quality can vary within a city that has a handful of McDonald’s (likely because they’re franchised), but across nations would be on another level.
my dad, every day right up to the last month of his 93+ year life: “Good. now what about some coffee?” my signal to drive him to mcdonalds’ for “coffee and two apple pies” 🥲 just seeing the things makes me mushy.
I didn’t have McDonalds ever in Kyiv but I had it in Kharkiv a few times and it was WAY better than in the USA. It looked like how commercial food looks and tasted better too.
I’ve tried McD probably in 8 countries USA included and Ukrainian is by far the best one
Can’t wait for more fake outrage posts on Twitter about Ukrainian McDonald’s being too nice and US taxes paying for them or some such nonsense.
McDonald’s is king! Quarter pounder with extra cheese please!
I like how they’re both like “my doctor told me not to eat this!” and everyone’s all focused on how good McDonalds taste!
It’s a nice middle finger to Russia though, who for some reason seems to hate McDonalds being in Ukraine! But my god their food is absolute trash
relatable.
We did egg mcmuffins, after all, it was breakfast.
Did someone Putin ketchup?
This is kinda off topic, but looking at Blinken’s interventions and all, aren’t we glad adults are back to running the US?
This scene will feel so forced and unnecessarily ‘America, fuck yeah!’ when we”ll watch the movie about this conflict – but my man, Blinky, just wanted his fries.
Diplomacy level trolling. Countries with Macdonald’s dont go to war
Kuleba is smart and unpretentious unlike Sergey Lavrov and other Putin’s slime.
Why do politicians/government officials always look funny just doing regular things
