  1. The Black Sea region is becoming an increasingly prominent theater of Russia’s war in Ukraine. Naval exercises, vessel boardings, sea drones missions, and a lot of diplomatic talk — all this may seem incomprehensible, but it really boils down to one thing: Russia is choking Ukraine and bullying NATO member countries.

  2. The western Black Sea is the one place where the F-16s Ukraine will receive can really make a difference. No extensive SAM threat here as long as Ukrainian warplanes don’t get too close to Crimea.

F-16s are a competent antiship platform when armed with Harpoons or the Norwegian Penguin 3 antiship missile and can deny the western Black Sea to Russian surface warships. And with NATO AWACS support from over the Romanian and Bulgarian coasts, Ukrainian F-16s armed with AMRAAMs can handle Russian fighters attempting to cover their fleet over the western Black Sea.

While NATO forces can’t shoot at Russian warships, Ukrainian F-16s can.

  3. So…how hard would it be to take apart a pair of Ticonderoga class cruisers and reassemble them in a Romanian port to circumvent the Montreux Convention (Bosporus treaty)?

  4. A lot of this seems pretty sus to be honest. When did Russia block maritime traffic to a NATO member country? Or deny access to Romanian or Bulgarian EEZs? And since when do naval exercises constitute annexation of international waters?

  5. No matter how interesting a video is, when I find out the voice is AI generated, it looses a lot of credibility.

  6. NATO should do like Fatih Sultan Mehmet II, fuck the Montreux Convention and move the ships over land.

  7. Turkey has control of the Black Sea..

They allow ships in and out ??

Their is NO threat to NATO here or they will be a ton of russian ships at the bottom of the Black sea..
I am pretty sure of that..

A couple of F-18s missions and the sea will be calm again
