  1. Maybe it’s because France doesn’t want to do FCAS anymore?

  2. Everyone put their interest above idealistic dreams.

I hope it will be remembered when next time someone will again try to blame Poland for its choice of military business partners.

  3. >Paris was said to favour a lighter tank with greater manoeuvrability which would be easier to airlift overseas for its campaigns in Africa.

    >Berlin wants to focus on a more heavily armoured tank, with a high survivability rate – like its Leopard 2 – for a potential war with Russia.

Couldn’t we have decided what tank to do before launching the program?

I don’t know exactly how things work but it seems like we decided we’d do a european tank even before we decided what those tanks would be for… which doesn’t seem to be a good idea (though, the project didn’t seem to have nearly as much problems before Rheinmetall entered it).

  4. This project was already dead in the womb anyway. Could have ended it sooner though.

FCAS will probably end in the same way.
