  1. That would make Elon (and his businesses) a legitimate military target for Ukraine, correct?

  2. >Musk was soon on the phone with President Joe Biden’s national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, the chairman of the joint chiefs, Gen. Mark Milley, and the Russian ambassador to the US to address anxieties from Washington, DC, to Moscow, writes Isaacson.

So, this might’ve been not just Musk’s decision…

  3. > “Starlink was not meant to be involved in wars. It was so people can watch Netflix and chill and get online for school and do good peaceful things, not drone strikes.”

*”Starlink wasn’t meant to enable people’s self-defense, or enable their recovery of stolen land.”*

Muskrat’s rhetoric is the same as other fake pacifists, who pretend that not helping Ukraine isn’t helping Russia. I’d like to know if he can be charged with crimes or sued for damages, because his actions should be illegal.

  4. I thought they couldn’t allow Starlink to be used in any combat capacity as it would put them in a weird legal hot water or something like that.

Musk is a horrible person. But I dont think he’s completely at fault this time.

  5. Oh dear… let the Musk bashing begin…

People easily forget Starlink has also helped Ukraine to win many battles and continue to do so today.

  6. A bigger concern is that Ukraine should assume that anything on Starlink is being passed to the Russians….

  7. This sounds like an action that could garner western sanctions for providing a material benefit to Russia, just the same as supplying chips or tank parts.

  8. Sounds like his meetings with Putin probably revolved around continued military cooperation.

I’d think the pentagon may have issues with that.

Musk wants to claim peace by actively supporting an invasion.

  9. This is the same bullshit story published many times. You can disagree with all the positions, but they were clearly outlined last year. There was no secret, Starlink prevented operation in Russia and occupied Crimea. Starlink blames legislation and the US government.

This story has taken what happened, centred it around Musk without basis, and made up a bunch of details like it’s part of a bad spy novel.

  10. I really hope that after the war, Ukraine puts an ban on new all Tesla and Starlink products inside Ukraine.

  11. I thought it was illegal for a civilian US technology to be used for warfare.

So allowing starlink to be used for war would violate US law.

  12. This is absolutely beyond the pale.

It is outright sabotage and a step into foreign policy at the level of the kind of call a president makes sitting in the WH conference room with the joint chiefs.

    JFC. This man is insane.

  13. Aiding and abetting enemies of the US? This on top of allowing Russian propaganda to run freely on Twitter. Sounds like Elon needs a trip to Guantanamo Bay.

  14. “Inviting strategic defeat”, you are not a military expert. You are just a dirtbag who has spent too much time listening to Russian propaganda

  15. Tell me again how does your government allow for such an act of sabotage against USA’s interest. Doesn’t that make Musk a national traitor?

  16. Musk is a Russian assets, probably take bribes in one form or the other (allegedly)

  17. I’m so glad that people are finally stopping to worship this piece of shit.
