This happens far more often than most people think. Most likely efforts will be made to cover it up if that is what has happened. The international embarrassment of being unable to hold an alleged terrorist would be too much of a sting. Luckily, the state’s customary ineptitude will mean that we probably will learn the truth sooner or later.
What was a man suspected of betraying this country to Iran doing in a Category B prison? Terror suspects held on thinner evidence have been put in category A before.
And the staffing levels in the prison make for shocking reading. You can’t expect prison officers to do the work of 3 people!
