My parents visited me in Germany. I took the Deutschland-Ticket via MVV

They left the country 2 months ago so I send the cancellation request for both the tickets via DBNavigator contact form (I could see the subscription information here) on 2nd July but the direct debit for them (I’m the payer) is still going on every month. I sent them emails but no-body responded.

I recently found out that I can search for their subscription on [https://abo.bahn.de/](https://abo.bahn.de/) and there was also the option to cancel the contract. so I did it there also.

I believe now it is truly cancelled as it says there subscription terminates by this end of month.

Now my question:

\- what if i block the direct debit of them for this month also. Both my parents are not in country since two months. I heard sometimes if their payment is declined they send the collection agency to collect the money and this agency add more fine to the pending payment. Can i justify my action saying i already send the cancellation request in july itself and since DB is not responding its not my fault.
