  1. Hat-tip to the redditor who yesterday said, “It seems like these incidents are a daily occurrence now”. Just for you, here’s today’s XL Bully horrorshow.

  2. The governments stance of “some of you may die” instead of implementing laws sounds familiar

  3. Why did he train it to do that? Bad owner, definitely not the dog. Did you know XL Bullies were originally bred to assist midwives and look after kittens?

  4. >”I haven’t heard how he is but it doesn’t sound good does it. I can’t understand how a dog can get the better of you unless it somehow got him on the floor.”

This is a bully type dog.

It originates from dogs breed to take down BULLS.

If you trigger it and it lashes out. You’re fucked.

They’re not meant to turn on people, but there’s no way to guarantee that.

You breed a dog to catch and kill large animals, it’s likely gonna do it.

And guess what – you’re a large animal.

  5. *must be one of those vicious golden retrievers!*

*oh no, I can’t believe my [insert saccharine name here] would do such a thing!*

*the “no bad breeds, just bad owners” lot are being real quiet right now*

*why hasn’t this breed been banned yet?*

*something about choosing dog breeds to look hard*

*ugh, the usual types are crawling out the woodwork in this comments section*

Right, I’ve sorted 90% of the comments in advance, let’s all just go about our day now.

  6. How long’s it gonna be before people realise it’s not just other people they maul, and maybe they’re not the best animal to own?

  7. So many Bully and Pitbull attacks lately. Is it time for the Maul-ympics? Will Mr.Nibbles take home a gold in the 100 meter prey chase?

  8. About a year or so back there was a post about a dog attack saying something quite inflammatory about dog owners (as far as I remember it anyway). I made a comment about the knee jerk reaction to what was a very unusual occurrence.
Fast forward a year and it is an almost daily occurrence. I’m wasn’t even aware of these bully xl breeds at the time.
So I feel not only foolish, but horrified that dog attacks, and these are particularly vicious and dangerous dog attacks have become part of every day life. And the government doesn’t want to do anything. It’s sickening.

I remembered, it was something about all dogs on leads at all times. I felt it was over the top and still do. But these breeds are hellish.
