Let’s be honest, banning disposable vapes isn’t exactly a bad idea.
These things got me extremely addicted to vaping, nearly 10 days off now though and still going strong!
They annoy me for so many reasons:
1. There is already a re-usable product in the vaping industry – why the need to sell disposable? (Yes, lucrative profits, but we are meant to be moving towards sustainability)
2. They are literally advertised for kids
3. They aren’t regulated like cigarettes, they aren’t hidden in shops and are very openly displayed
4. Each one of these bastards has 50 cigarettes of nicotine in them. that is a huge amount of nicotine for an adult, let alone the kids shops are selling these to.
5. The whole nature of the product is to look harmless, easy to get but then get you heavily addicted to fiend for more. Many people I know at work turned from buying one for odd night out to getting through 1 a day.
6. Absolute dogshite for the environment, people leave them everywhere.. literal lithium batteries and plastic just being littered everywhere.
The government is being too slow for this. They need to be banned asap. I’m ashamed to have fell in the trap but glad I am now out of it
