If there’s a lot of flies and they start hanging around inside the alarm it can set it off.
I’d imagine a false fire alarm in a hospital is a fairly serious thing.
Rather than just throwing a glove over it, they should probably replace the unit with a heat sensor rather than a photodetector.
Whoever put that glove there should be sacked
Is there a way to report this to fire services?
Might have been gougers setting it off for the laugh.
