When you stop allowing corrupt, racist, rapists on the force you don’t get as many applicants.
Personally I find the idea of being a police officer rather fake.
The law will always be biased in the country it is made and you can potentialy be made to enforce laws that are unethical.
Not to mention most laws are just laws with a price tag that for some is just pocket change.
Yes I understand a police officer’s role in using their own judgement so they are not just Law bots, same reason why a court has a jury. (ethics vs law)
Given the increasing costs to living and governments lack of giving a fuck its going to get harder to enforce the “law”.
Police are politically controlled, we need the old fashioned police back! You’ll never get rid of corruption but at least police controlled crime rather than crime controlling police!
We need more alphabet people for modern policing. The traditional military, alpha male types need not apply.
Wagner troops will be looking for new jobs pretty soon.
