Whenever I drive around my village at the current 30mph speed limit I’ve usually got someone right up my ass wanting me to go faster. It’s going to be a lot of fun in a few weeks when I have to do 20.
I imagine the police are going to be out in force when the change takes effect. Traffic crime is about the only thing they can solve these days in North Wales.
I absolutely love this – can’t wait for it to be enforced. People drive like maniacs around here and they’re all absolutely seething about it. There’s much fun to be had in the comments section of our local newspaper 😂
20 m.p.h in built up area is sensible. I’d reduce it to 5 when passing a school going in or coming out.
I’d put money on this going nationwide as the boomers get old and lose confidence driving.
