This might be a good news but they should be kept as OPSEC because news like these would stir FSB to simply check almost every single VKS pilots stationed in western ruZZia and that could foil the plans of bringing these people in Ukraine with their planes.

Treat them like gold when they defect and they’ll start coming over in droves
After a while announce you have limited funds so that only the next 20 pilots will receive the full $500k and after that the payout will have to be cut down some
I would love to see a fully armed KA-52 defect. That would be an intelligence windfall even if the systems are older.
Here’s hoping they can persuade an Su-57 (or any other fighter jet) pilot to defect. Even if not to Ukraine, fleeing to a neutral country would mean one less combat aircraft for ruzzia. Fingers crossed.
Russian airforce being like: Blyatt!! NOW we have to send 3 x the planes for every sortie. Óne for the actual sortie, and óne to shoot the first, might the pilot consider defecting.. and behind those 2, a ratty, chechen Mig21 to deter the second from fleeing or defecting… :ROFL:
