2. France should be happy that they even want to send their kids to state schools. Instead they invent this ridiculous rule under the coward’s guise of “neutrality” just to pander to right-wing voters. Let me repeat: the only reason these laws exist is to pander to the French version of Trump voters. Dear people, religious neutrality means that the GOVERNMENT is neutral, not that you try to neuter twelve year old girls. Macron, that little dipshit toy-Napoleon at the Élysée, hopes that he can steal some voters from Le Pen with this bullshit. Worst of all, it’s not even going to work. He’s just empowering the far-right and after this they’re just going to demand the next thing. After all, if children who attend a state school cannot display religious affiliation then logically this rule must be extended to anyone who visit any state institution, like city halls, hospitals and voting boots.

   And you know what’s gonna happen, right? They organize their own schools and congratulations, now you have completely lost them.
