I like Zelensky. The right man at the right time. This comment reminded me of that.
Putin thought he was being so “clever” lying to the world that he had no intention to invade Ukraine.
All he’s accomplished is making his signature worthless on any “peace” agreement.
A tiny man with a tiny brain. And a tiny something else too.
Russia is the boy who cried wolf. Even if they make a true statement they can not be believed because they are known to just lie about everything.

Honestly, you can’t negotiate with liars. The only thing Putin understands is force.
He is so right. In many ways i’m embarresed the Eu did not do more. We should have recognised a bully and a threat akin to hitlers opening moves shorty before the war. We should have learned from history and declared a special military protection operation and allowed volunteers from airforce, navy and army to join this operation where alle ruzzian targets in ukraine where viable. Since no one declared war we would only be at war with an illigal occuping force within Ukraine and not ruzzia.
There is no point in negotiating with a thief and a bully. Everyone with any schoolyard sense, or any sense of history, knows this.
“When you want to have a compromise or a dialogue with somebody, you cannot do it with a liar,” Volodymyr Zelensky said, in reply to a question about a position espoused by some:^1
>While the United States and other key Ukrainian allies continue to supply weapons to Kyiv, and stress that conditions to pursue a “just and durable” peace are not yet in place, a handful of world leaders, such as Brazil’s Lula Da Silva, have put the onus on Ukraine to end the war.
>As evidence for his position, Zelensky cited other countries which have been attacked by Russian soldiers and continue to be partially occupied by them.
Zelenskyy is referring to a pattern demonstrated by Putin’s wars.^2
Mark Galeotti *et al*. previously observed:^3
>President Putin’s calculus is that the longer the war lasts, the less Western resolve to support Ukraine and so the greater pressure on Ukraine for a ceasefire (effectively one on Russian terms).
>A protracted war, such thinking goes, exposes tensions between Western elites willing to offer Ukraine reassurance and western societies willing to link rising living standards and lower energy prices to war termination at any price.
>Russian disinformation operations can and do accelerate such splits.

Zelensky is absolutely right. (The Ukrainians are very lucky to have him leading them.)
Don’t forget the superbowl ring. That incident is truly revealing how much of a tug he is. There was no higher cause there, just plain voracity. He will take anything if he can get away wifh it…
“You cannot negotiate with a tiger when your head is in it’s mouth”
Exactly. Putin acts on this as a weakness of his enemies. Have to remain strong against him
Well, if Putin is ready to surrender Moscow to Ukraine…
Aside from those other countries there was a treaty in place between Ruzzia and Ukraine which Ruzzia conveniently ignored last year.
Negotiation will just give Pootin time to build up his forces and try again, he and the regime need to go, what happens in Ruzzia after that is down to the Ruzzian people.
# Take notes, Vivek Ramaswamy.
^((for those not in the know. he thinks Putin is negotiable))
It’s not like Putin was negotiating before he invaded. Who negotiates with a murderer and rapist of women and children?
