  1. Watched the whole of it despite how painful and devastating it is. Its (and their!) memory deserves to live on in our memories.

Stay strong. New Bakhmut will be even better, knowing the prices Ukraine paid.

  2. Can anyone translate the words toward the end of the video? Thanks!

Oh, yeah! Fuck Putin!! Slava Bakmut and Ukraini!!

  3. damn.

when you recognize some of the buildings from this video and they’re so pretty (like the “round corner” buildings or the prefabs with those nice drawings), just because you saw them many times in the combat footage totally destroyed. makes me sad. and i can’t even imagine how it must feel the other way around, knowing first what the city looked like before the ork invasion and seeing it in its current desolate state.

  4. A beautiful city that didn’t deserve to be destroyed. Fuck Putin.

  5. I will never forget the old man crying about how beautiful Bakhmut was and how russia was bombing it all into rubble. This was in the first weeks of the war. There was a view overlooking a road junction with grass banks and flowerbeds, obviously a small town the inhabitants were proud of.

Meanwhile, look at any russian village, and you see how they are not interested in anything at all, the roads are unpassable by vehicles and there is refuse everywhere just strewn across open areas, sewage is seen in the streets, and it is a disgrace that humans live in such squalid conditions.
