14. This appears to be south of Robotyne. There was a failed counterattack by Russia there a couple of days ago. It’s rumoured (well, the only POW that was taken said on camera, but that’s not exactly a reliable source) that Russia had the rear zeroed in by its own artillery to avoid a retreat, so when the assault failed the Russian marines were pinned in foxholes unable to withdraw.

    No idea if it’s true or a story told under duress for the press.

    Quick edit – apparently wrong about the location. I thought it was the field east of the fortifications between Robotyne and Novoprokopivka. Apparently it’s Soledar according to another post.
