Confused feelings right now. Any Italians care to explain while I enjoy my pineapple pizza?
Euro-nationalism is something that Brussels needs to take on board. The EU has many characteristics of a confederation, but its bureaucracy often behaves/talks as if it is some international organization. That is a wrong take. It’s not the UN 2.0 but it should be an instrument for the 27 member states to have a greater weight in global affairs. In a way in which the US or China guide their own interests. It should, for example, be very quick to sanction countries that make repatriating their citizens difficult. It should more assertively back member states like Cyprus when they have any conflicts. I would actually like some more assertive “Europe first” rhetoric out of Brussels over current globalist-light talking points.
Nein Danke. Nationalism is a disease
Wath hell is this timeline.
