  1. Kazakhstan is europe also now? What’s next? Mongolia?

  2. Trying to figure out what these colours represent lol

  3. Geographically in Europe? Big deal. Everyone knows participating in Eurovision is what really makes a country European.

  4. Don’t forget that Mercator scales it. I think there’s an online map mat adjusts the size correctly to compare. But damn that’s interesting

  5. Hi, what app are you using to compare land pieces like that?

  6. It should be measured based on percentage of total state area. Above 50% you are good to go.
    Goodbye Russia, Turkyie and Kazakhstan.

  7. The concept of *continent* is very loosely defined. As many other geographical concepts, there is no mathematical definition for it, thus its arbitrariness.

It’s more of a cultural concept, rather than an objective one. Thus, the usual questions: where does Europe end? Are there one or two Americas? What do you consider as part of Oceania?

The real answer to all these is: it depends. And this is also the fun part, since it gives room for discussion.

  8. Europe is a peninsula of Eurasia, shouldn’t even be called a continent. Maybe be a region like East Asia, middle East or subcontinent like India

  9. A small part of France is located in south america, bigger than some american countries. France is not considered an american country
